Experience

Summary

After years as a professional newspaper reporter and editor, I made the leap into social media. I was a pioneer in the field, and have worked with the American Museum of Natural History, Verizon Wireless, VentureBeat and more.

Work history

AppFinder microsite launch and expansion
I filled in for the site editor, who went on maternity leave a month and a half before the site launched. I managed all content and developed the roadmap to expand the categories & apps on the site.
American Museum of Natural History
Social Strategy & Usability Consultant, Asian Folksonomy Project
The museum contracted me to work with the company developing a microsite to help the Hall of Asian Peoples develop a folksonomy for their collection. I developed a social strategy for the site launch & advised on usability issues.
