Experience

Summary

I spent 5 years as the 'right hand woman' to the CEO of an advertising network, giving me a breath of experience in marketing and business operations.

Now I run my own online business, helping entrepreneurs find the time to do what they love most.

Work history

The Work In Process
Online Business Manager / VA
I provide operations and marketing support to entrepreneurs and growing businesses, who may not be able to afford a full time employee - but know they need a trusted partner to run their business profitably and enjoyably.
Zoo Group
Group Operations Manager
I remotely ran the HQ team of a group of ad agencies, ensuring we operated smoothly to deliver quality work to our local & international clients. I was responsible for the group's brand, communications, systems and profitability.

Pinterest management - Two Streets Back

Pinterest is one of my favourite platforms! It can drive so much traffic, and despite it's effectiveness I've found that when compared to traditional social platforms it's much less of a time drain.

Coschedule

Content management & scheduling in CoSchedule

Although a bit on the pricey side, CoSchedule is a great tool to truely get on top of content marketing. With the ability to add notes alongside your publishing schedule for blog & social posts, it's an extremely practical, visual way to ensure it all comes together.

Convertkit sequence

Automations & sequences in Seva (formerly ConvertKit)

I'm a bit of a ConvertKit fangirl! It's not over-specced, and what it does it does extremely well. It's super simple to use, and even more simple to stay on top of your effectiveness. This warm up and welcome sequence has an average open rate of 58.1% and a click rate of 6.1%.

What I read

Mostly business books - I'm a huge fan of Simon Sinek!

Side projects

I'm working on a blog, mostly about my travels around Southern Africa (if I can save just one person from a research headache, I'll be happy!).

Ideal team

I like working with people who are friendly yet direct, open to suggestions and (most importantly) love what they do.
A team is only as good as it's leader - so if this sounds like you, then I'm sure your team & I will get along just fine.
