I read 100+ books a year. I also subscribe to and read The Economist. I regularly visit Arts and Letters Daily (, BBC World News, The Toronto Star, Inside Higher Ed, and The Chronicle of Higher Education websites.

Side projects

I have published 3 books of commercial nonfiction, 3 poetry chapbooks, and translations of poetry and drama from French, Classical Greek, and Latin. I have been a contributing editor to The Sports Guide and dance editor of The Event.

Ideal team

I prefer working fairly independently on individual tasks. I can enjoy brainstorming in small groups. I like a fairly flexible hands-off management style and a clear task focus. I enjoy clients with well-defined project scope with room for creativity..
