We aren't scientists or engineers, but we teach those who are how to tell their narratives, and we build the communications infrastructure to support their missions. Once the groundwork is laid, we target their audiences through smart SEO copy, online content and social media, video and print. And because the firm's president, Michael Grossman, spent 20 years working on political campaigns of every stripe, we're also able to translate the public sector lingua franca into something that doesn't sound like pig Latin.

Description

I run a strategic communications firm that focuses primarily on B2B companies in the clean tech space. I need someone who can seamlessly provide social media content while engaging with our very specialized audiences.

My firm is small, and I have been performing these functions, but I'm getting stretched too thin, and I feel it's compromising the quality and quantity of the long form content my clients expect me to be focused on, even with a content management system like HootSuite.

In addition to curating content on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, I need someone who can help deepen engagement with our niche audiences and who has with design capabilities to work with me on infographics and images with copy. Because our websites have a WordPress component, I also need you to be fluent enough to add news stories and press releases as they arise.

We are a western U.S. based firm as are our clients. For that reason, while I will accept professional proposals from anywhere in the U.S., Mountain and Pacific Time Zones are preferred because of the immediacy required with social media. Also, because of the nature of our client work, knowledge about sustainability is a must.

Commitment

This is an ongoing project that should take no more than 20 hours per month.
