This position requires you to be extremely organized and professional. You will work directly with the CEO and founder of the technology company, DIY Divorce. She has a full-time law practice so you will need to be able to a self starter for many projects with little direction. You will also help the CEO with her law practice on occasion with small tasks.
The daily tasks for this position require you to answer incoming phone calls and texts through the RingCental app. Responding to client emails and questions in a timely fashion. Updating client files and updating CEO on tasks done throughout the day.
As previously mentioned, organization is KEY to this role. You will need to ensure that all clients are aware of the status of their case and provide them with next steps as well as relaying this information to the CEO. You will not be micromanaged, and you will need to be able to ask for help from the CEO. There are processes and templates in place, but as this is a start-up, the CEO does expect a fair amount of questions.
A DIY Specialist MUST have proficiency in:
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Google Drive
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
• Communication Skills
• A working knowledge of Clio (legal software) is preferred but not required.
• Very detail oriented
Required Technology for this position include:
• A laptop or PC
• A smart phone
Current work load is on average 1 hour per day, with hope to grow to approximately 2 - 3 hours per day.
