Copywriting Social Media Content Email Design

I've been a Webmaster, Web Marketing Assistant, Cashier, Freelance Wordpress Gremlin, Freelance Writer, and overall Solver-of-Probems across several employers and clients since 2002.

Work history

Web/Marketing Assistant
A combo of textbook ordering, eCommerce wrangling, customer support, social media, and website maintenance. My advertisements in-store and on campus brought students in to check out new product, and my customer service kept students happy.
Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs
The OAFC was a mixed bag; not only did I keep the website and membership database up-to-date, I assisted with mass mailings, answered phones, produced various documents, handled survey data, and completed other office duties. I was also tech support.
Virtual Assistant
I was the friendly "voice" that responded to e-mails from readers and clients, providing advice and a shoulder for those that needed it during their gaming journey, and upselling affiliate products.
Volunteer Social Media Consultant
Women's Resources were in need of some help with their social media accounts. I set up their Twitter and Facebook accounts on Hootsuite, helped them understand/use social media, and helped with mail-outs.

New Providence Advertisement

A college project that required us to create branding, advertisements, and an eCommerce website for an airline. This is one of the advertisements.

You Have to Have a Goal

This is one of the articles from my blog, which explains why it's important to make goals.

Taming the Steam Library @ Grumpy Bear Druid

A how-to article I wrote in 2016 to explain how to organize a Steam library. Steam is a gaming purchasing/download service, and frequent sales mean many impulse buys -- the average user winds up with dozens of titles to their name.

What I read

I'm a voracious reader of nearly anything I can get my hands on.

Side projects

I've written content for several different clients, am developing an Etsy shop for poster designs/printables, and have been writing some short stories in my spare time.

Ideal team

I prefer to work for people that provide a clear idea of what they want, and are happy to leave me to my own devices. Getting timely feedback on my work is always helpful. I prefer working with small teams but am open to anything.
