Work history

Team Leader - Account Management
I am the team leader for a specialized group of account managers at Field. Account managers are innovative people working as an inside sales, customer service, purchasing, and inventory management agent all rolled into one.
Adjunct Instructor of Philosophy
I taught and developed curricula for 3 courses: Intro to Philosophy, Ethics, and Social and Political Philosophy. My job was to make complicated and foggy ideas and theories simple and clear for an audience of skeptical undergraduates. I loved it.

Reviews and references

Recent reviews

I worked with Mike on a project where I needed writers to cover our event and write long-form articles on keynote speeches. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with the way he handled everything from writing to communications. Mike understands storytelling on a deep level and submits great copy. I felt my project was in good hands at every step of the way. I’ll definitely work with him again.

Is All Our Hard Work Killing Our Future?

I ask the question of whether our tireless devotion to "the hustle" and putting in long hours to grind out hypergrowth may just be sacrificing the most important component of our progress thus far: leisure.

What I read

I read quite a bit on Medium, where I do most of my writing, I also read various blogs to get news and notes on current events. I read business and personal development books, and philosophy, of course.

Side projects

I devote most of my time to my writing on Medium. I write for various publications on that site. I'm just getting started.

Ideal team

Simply put, I can work with any team size, any kind of client, in any industry. So long as they are respectful, straight-forward, and value good work enough to pay fairly for it.
