Since 2000, my research and work has been focused in the areas of post-industrial redevelopment, contemporary art & performance, the cultural activation of public spaces & privately-owned public spaces, and organizational planning & change management.

Founder and Director
The Lost Notebook catalyzes change by providing creative small businesses, organizations and communities with bespoke strategy, research, and planning so that they can more effectively realize their visions and affect transformation.
Vice President, Institutional Advancement
Oversaw the organization’s strategic and sustainability planning, re-branding, fundraising, communications, and new business development efforts with a department of seven full-time staff members, as well as seasonal part-timers, vendors, and volunteers.


Danspace Project: Space Analysis Report 2017

Developed tailored research and analysis of the New York City real estate market, including target neighborhood profiles, property owner and developer insights, and potential partnership opportunities. Provided recommendations for partnership and potential future space resourcing strategies.

PhD Thesis: Tendrils of Lost Time and the Self

My PhD research focused on various strategies working artists used to navigate real estate development & gentrification, the philanthropic economy & commercial labor market, and the cultural shift from historical narrative to high-tech brand-driven communications in New York City from 1999 to 2009.
