Portfolio

Health eHeart Stories

Increased enrollment in the UCSF Health eHeart Study, the first entirely digital heart disease study, by 200% in six months through digital media and partnership campaigns that I designed.

Society Nine Crowdfunding Campaign

Designed and executed a successful crowdfunding campaign for Society Nine, the first women’s boxing glove line, raising more than $58,000 for the previously unknown business from 627 people in four weeks.

WellnessFX Acquired

WellnessFX was acquired at the end of 2013; the strength of the brand and community, which I designed and managed, was a stated reason for the acquisition. The acquiring company kept the entire WFX brand intact and folded its own operations into my media strategy.

Interests

Industries I love

Ecommerce Fashion Health & Wellness Media Social Enterprise Travel Venture Capital Banking & Finance

What I read

I use Twitter to keep up with my favorite sources: DesignGood, NatGeo, Reason, Fast Co, 99U, and of course, the blogs of my favorite companies. For fun, I read books on my Kindle; a recent favorite was "The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards."

Side projects

I love working with new entrepreneurs and have volunteered my time for "Office Hours" at both the MassChallenge and Dat Ventures accelerators in Boston.

Ideal team

I've worked with a variety of different types of teams and can adapt to any digital environment. Team size is not an issue for me, as long as we are able to regularly communicate. Transparency is key.
