Work history

Content Manager
Together with the company owner, I created and implemented a rebranding strategy that included writing over 40 pages of new web copy, sustaining an email marketing campaign to new and existing clients, and maintaining a blog and social presence.
Senior Content Strategist
Starting from scratch, the President, CMO and I establish a core brand message, draft 50+ pages of web copy and three 10+ page consumer guides. I implemented a "people-first" campaign, manage the company blog and co-manage social accounts.
Writer & Marketing Consultant
Initially brought on to write an e-book (see link), I also manage and write for the company blog, maintain the company's social profiles, and consult on digital marketing strategy with the company's CEO and founder.
Copyeditor
Embark is a pro-bono copyediting group that offers services to non-profits and small businesses. I recently assisted in editing a full-length manuscript, edit copy for the blog, and recently joined the copyediting team at GotScience.com.

Engaging the Dispersed Workforce: Understanding Challenges and Guiding Positive Change

This book is a useful tool for executives and managers alike, specifically those who work closely with remote and dispersed sales reps. It covers topics such as the generation gap, digital distraction, and communication strategies to bridge these gaps. I truly enjoyed working on this project!

The Essential Guide to Legal Funding

Coming soon in downloadable ebook form, this guide is an overview of the commercial legal funding industry. It provides a detailed description of how to access legal funding and what types of legal funding are available to both plaintiffs and attorneys.

How To Manage Your Career In A VUCA Economy

After attending a fantastic event hosted by SF IABC, I wrote up a re-cap for those who were unable to attend. I am especially fond of this piece because of the warm responses I received over LinkedIn and in person.

Forest Hills Pamphlet

I was asked to edit the text for this real estate pamphlet and reorganize the content to enhance readability, while still preserving the original design elements.

Introductory Newsletter

A small therapy group asked me to craft email copy and send out a newsletter to announce their first foray onto the Internet. I work with them on a quarterly basis to reach out to current clients and to set up Google and Facebook Local campaigns to reach new markets.

Monthly Newsletter Sample

A client sends out emails on a regular basis to engage clients with pertinent information and to extend a simple reminder of her services. I help craft the copy and arrange the information on our email template.
