I've worked as a writer and creative director at some of the most influential ad agencies the world. I'm probably most well known for creating IBM's "Solutions for a Small Planet" campaign, which is part of the permanent collection at New York's MOMA.

Work history

Executive Creative Director
Directed the creative department. Led winning new business pitches for the Metropolitan Water District and Weightwatchers. Spearheaded the campaign for that inspired Southern Californians to reduce their water use by 31%.
Executive Creative Director
Led the creative department. Instituted the “creative team” approach and guided the agency’s first foray into content development for brands such as McDonald’s, Unilever and Walmart. Represented the agency as a speaker at the Cannes ad festival.
Executive Creative Director
Co-managed this marketing and advertising agency. Clients include PETCO, Jamba Juice, Luna Bar and Safeway. Produced the most widely viewed web video in Jamba Juice company history.
2009-2010, Santa Monica, CA
Oversaw the creative department of this web content company, which I founded in partnership with Ascent Media Group. Clients included Barnes and Noble, PETCO, Suzuki and the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
Creative Director
Managed creative teams on the Kraft and Disneyland accounts. Co-created with photographer Annie Leibovitz the seminal “Dream Portrait” campaign for Disneyland.
Directed commercials and web videos for brands ranging from AAA and Toyota to The Sporting News Magazine.

Worked as a freelance copywriter and creative director at the ad agencies TBWA/Chiat/Day, Saatchi, JWT, Team One, Ogilvy and McCann on brands from Suzuki and Playstation to Ford and Lexus.
Associate Creative Director
Managed the California Lottery and Pedigree dog food accounts. Wrote and produced “Howard Sings,” the California Lottery’s most popular commercial of all time.
