A legendary night out in Sydney Selina's at the Coogee Bay Hotel

A tribute to Selina's, one of the hottest live music venues in Australia - if not the world. Located in the gorgeous beach suburb of Coogee, with the ocean right across the road, Selina's has hosted some of the very finest live acts in the musical universe.

The Paddle, Christchurch A little place I love

A review of one of the very best cafes I've ever been to. Situated in Highcliffe-on-sea, on the Dorset coast and close to the New Forest, this quirky, independent eatery is bursting with character and atmosphere. As for the food and drinks - they are simply a joy.

Missing George Michael Can you mourn someone you've never met?

George Michael was a big part of my pubescent life - and teen dreams. I grew up with 'Wham!', my first favourite band among the pretty pop boys of the 1980s. I say I miss George, but can you really mourn someone you've never met?

Unicorn trifle recipe

My own favourite dessert recipe, of all those I've devised since I first started cooking over 25 years ago. It's easy to make, perfect for kids' parties and - of course - oh, so yummy!

7 of the best things about owning a VW Campervan

All about my love for my Dub! Why I've been fan of classic Volkswagens since my teens. Here, I also list the reasons why I really do love life in the slow lane.

Foodies Feast @ Christchurch Food Festival

My review of this fabulous annual food festival. From a converted London bus that you can 'Hop On Inn' to for a pint, to local hero Jimmy of Iced Coffee fame. There's food from all over the world to sample and buy, celebrity chef demos, cupcakes galore and lots of fun for the kids, too.
